So if a video has hundreds of five second segments, you have to click through the lagging hundreds of time until you get them all.
And then you can merge everything yourself. That would be the easy part mind you, but downloading each segment individually is a terrible waste of time that I won't endure.
Finally, I tested it with videos from Globoesporte. They are super popular, but they're not Youtube or Vimeo. Maybe it works on those sites, like tons of extensions do, I just don't care about them, and the description doesn't specifically say it's supposed to work on only one site.
The issue you described is related to continuous scoring segments detection bug. I don't know if I did it wrong or if there's a limit, but I downloaded an 1. Downloads work and whatnot, but if you leave it on, it will pile up processes and make firefox slow until my computer crashes. Seems like every single video it detects opens a new thing that consumes memory, eventually opening up hundreds of instances. Developer response posted 2 years ago.
Our developers already working on this issue. Download file. Older versions Version 4. Improved general quality of video detection and downloads Added support for Waterfox web browser Improved error handling in MPD protocol. I like Firefox, other than it s-l-o-w-s way down too much too often.
Thanks , Fred, have to say I did not think Mozilla made the add-ons; sorry if it sounded as though I was saying that. Second, I did the things you suggested; still no success. Third, I seem to remember someone saying that the updates to Windows somehow obliterated certain programs and add-ons, but have not been able to find out more, or what to do about it.
Fourth, and again I know Mozilla did not do this, but Google made some "improvements" to Gmail, some of which are a pain in the posterior, to put it charitably, especially there sub-directory sidebar on the left, which now pops in and out and is hard to deal with.
Please note that there was no AVD updates since February. Your problem may be related to the recent Firefox update, please try to clean browser cache or reinstall AVD extension. Now, you have no idea the status of the download or if it even started unless you constantly go back up and click on the icon and check, or if you open the downloads in another tab, not sure why anyone would want to have to do this.
