He is best known for his participation in Comedy Central show. Zakir was born on 20 August in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He belongs to a humble background family. He says his father was very supportive of his talent in comedy. He completed his school education from St. Paul Higher Secondary School, Indore. He enrolled for B. Com degree but he dropped out of college. He also pursued a diploma in Sitar. He shifted to Delhi to become a radio producer.
